
225 State Educational Grants Allocated to Atyrau University
This year, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has allocated a total of 500 state educational grants specifically for graduates from Atyrau Region. Among them, Kh. Dosmukhametov Atyrau University is accepting applications for 225 state-funded grants.
Applications are being accepted until July 20, and the university’s admissions committee is operating without breaks or weekends.
“This opportunity is available exclusively to residents of Atyrau Region. Currently, representatives from major universities across Kazakhstan are also present at our admissions center, accepting applications for programs in natural sciences, pedagogy, metallurgy, and more.
In addition, applicants can apply for the 225 grants allocated directly to Atyrau University, which are primarily in pedagogy, fisheries, natural sciences, and information technology,”
said Askat Chukurov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Atyrau University.
He also noted that applicants can submit their documents via the online portal egov.kz.
In total, the Ministry has allocated 93,232 educational grants nationwide for 2024-2025:
• 77,084 for bachelor’s degrees
• 13,229 for master’s programs
• 2,919 for doctoral studies
Graduates from Atyrau Region will be able to pursue higher education through these special grants at over 40 universities across the country.
