First Meeting of the Alumni Association Held

Today, the first official meeting of the Alumni Association of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University took place.

With a proud history spanning 85 years, Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University has educated over 70,000 graduates, preparing them to serve the nation as highly qualified professionals.

In this context, the university has established an important platform to unite its graduates - the Alumni Association. This initiative reflects a structured approach widely practiced in leading universities around the world. It is worth noting that legislative regulations governing Endowment funds for higher education institutions are currently under consideration in Kazakhstan. Moreover, several Kazakhstani universities have already launched successful Endowment fund initiatives.

During the meeting, Salamat Idrissov, Chair of the Board and Rector of the University, Lyailya Koyshygulova, Vice-Rector, Professor Shynar Yelezhanova, and Berdibek Tumyshev, Director of the University Publishing Center, shared their views on organizing and developing the activities of the Alumni Association.

University graduates who are currently employed at the institution also took part in the meeting. They expressed their readiness to collaborate on the Association’s future projects and contribute to achieving shared goals.
