In the village of Taskala, located near the city of Atyrau, lotus flowers listed in the Red Book of Endangered Species have bloomed in abundance, attracting considerable public attention.
Remarkably, this beautiful lotus field owes its existence to two young girls from the village, Aiym and Shattyk. Two years ago, while playing near a local waterway, the girls scattered lotus seeds into the water. Today, those seeds have grown into an entire field of beautiful lotus flowers.
Professor Gulnar Saparova gave an interview to KTK TV channel regarding this remarkable phenomenon.
