Specialized Accreditation Launched for 32 Academic Programs at the University

On May 28, 2025, Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University officially launched the specialized accreditation process for 32 academic programs. Of these, 29 programs are undergoing first-time accreditation, while 3 programs are being reviewed for re-accreditation. The accreditation is being conducted by the Independent Kazakhstan Accreditation Center, with a total of 35 experts involved, including 6 international specialists.

On the first day, a series of meetings and interviews were held with the Chairman of the Board - Rector, S.N. Idrissov; Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, A.E. Chukurov; Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations, K.M. Utepkaliyeva; Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Youth Policy, L.E. Koishygyulova; as well as deans of faculties, department heads, academic staff, students, employers, and alumni.

The expert panel also visited the university’s material, technical, and research infrastructure and attended elective course sessions. Internal discussions among the accreditation experts also took place.

The first day of the specialized accreditation process concluded successfully.
