University Student Wins National Olympiad

The final stage of the National Olympiad on Financial Security was held in Astana, organized by the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, AML ACADEMY, the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, E.A. Buketov Karaganda University, and Turan University.

A total of 125 students from Atyrau University registered for the Olympiad. Law and economics students, as well as first-year master’s students in scientific-pedagogical programs, participated in the first stage of the competition -  an online test - from which 65 participants successfully advanced.

In the second stage, which involved writing an essay, Daniyar Jumash, a 3rd-year student of the Economics and Public Administration program, ranked among the top 40 and advanced to the final round.

In the final, the top 40 contestants competed in a phygital sports chess tournament, a survey, and an intellectual quest game. Based on the results, 10 winners were selected. Among them, Daniyar Jumash earned a place on the national team and will represent Kazakhstan at the upcoming International Olympiad on Financial Security in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.
