University Alumna Named “Teacher of the Year – 2025”!

A round table titled “Teaching – a Path of Mastery and Inspiration” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, organized by the Department of Physics and Technical Disciplines. The event featured Samal Makhambetova, the winner of the “Teacher of the Year – 2025” contest and a 2003 graduate of Atyrau University.

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Atyrau University, Salamat Idrissov, personally received and congratulated Samal Makhambetova on her outstanding achievement. During the meeting, the rector presented her with a letter of appreciation and a commemorative gift on behalf of the university.

The event, aimed at offering professional guidance, sharing experiences, and discussing the qualities of a modern educator, was attended by students, faculty, and professors of the university.

Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, and Information Technology, Bakytgul Asanova, Head of the Department of Physics and Technical Disciplines, Zhangirkhan Zhumamukhambetov, and Professor Bayan Kuanbayeva all extended their heartfelt congratulations to Samal Kalikyzy on her well-deserved recognition.

“We are proud to congratulate Samal Kalikyzy, a 2003 graduate of Atyrau University and now an accomplished educator, on winning the “Teacher of the Year – 2025”! Samal once walked these halls as a student, began her career here, and over the years has grown into a knowledgeable, skilled teacher who truly connects with her students. Today, we believe our future graduates will learn a lot from her inspiring journey,” said the Dean of the Faculty.

During the meeting, Samal Kalikyzy shared her personal experiences, including the first steps in her teaching career, her successes, and the challenges she overcame. Her professional dedication and perseverance left a strong impression on the audience. She answered students’ questions openly and sincerely, offering motivation and encouragement for their own paths as future educators.

The event featured musical performances by graduates of the Physics and Informatics programs, recitations of poetry about teachers, and many warm words of appreciation. At the end of the meeting, Samal Kalikyzy was presented with a bouquet of flowers as a token of gratitude.
