A new Fulbright volunteer, Logan Smith, has joined Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University and begun his work at the university. Vice-Rector Rakhmetolla Zakarya welcomed the international specialist and introduced him to the university community.
The Fulbright volunteer’s work will give new impetus to the development of the university’s international and educational environment. In addition to improving English language proficiency, his presence will provide an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of U.S. culture and its academic environment, exchange experiences, and strengthen intercultural ties.
During the 2026–2027 academic year, Logan Smith will teach English to the university’s faculty members and students, helping them improve their language skills and develop their ability to communicate confidently in English in both academic and professional settings.
