Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors Held

On 9 July 2026, the Board of Directors of the Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company (NPJSC) Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University held its regular meeting.

The agenda focused on key issues related to the University’s strategic development and current operations.

Particular attention was given to the implementation of the University’s Development Plan. Identified shortcomings were reviewed, and the Board provided appropriate recommendations for improvement.

The quarterly reports of the Internal Audit Service and the Compliance Service were presented and approved. The Board of Directors instructed the University to strengthen measures aimed at preventing corruption, financial, and other institutional risks.

The Board also emphasized the importance of strict adherence to the principles of corporate governance, maintaining zero tolerance for ethical violations, and preventing conflicts of interest. The University’s Management Board was tasked with implementing measures to significantly improve management effectiveness.

Special attention was paid to the development of the University’s infrastructure. The Board of Directors highlighted the importance of ensuring the University’s sustainable operation and further improving the quality of the educational environment.

“Today, the University faces the important tasks of strengthening its academic competitiveness and modernizing its infrastructure. The decisions adopted by the Board of Directors are aimed at ensuring sustainable growth, enhancing transparency in governance, and creating better conditions for improving the quality of education provided to our students,” said Beibit Mamrayev, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Following the discussion of the agenda items, the Board of Directors issued recommendations aimed at:

* improving the overall effectiveness of the University’s operations;

* strengthening the internal control system;

* ensuring the effective implementation of the University’s strategic development goals and international cooperation initiatives;

* enhancing the quality of scientific research and promoting innovation;

* accelerating the digitalization of the University’s key management processes.

Responsibility for implementing the adopted decisions and recommendations was assigned to the University’s Management Board, which was instructed to ensure their execution and present a progress report at the next meeting of the Board of Directors.
