During the first stage of the creative examinations, applicants to the Teacher Training in Initial Military Education educational programme completed physical fitness tests, demonstrating their level of physical preparedness, endurance, and overall fitness.
Applicants seeking admission to the Performing Arts educational programme performed solo vocal pieces, showcasing their vocal skills, artistic expression, and stage presence.
Candidates applying for the Teacher Training in Art, Crafts and Technical Drawing educational programme took an academic drawing examination. As part of the assessment, they produced drawings of a plaster cast of a human face, demonstrating their ability to construct a balanced composition, maintain accurate proportions, render light and shadow effectively, and apply the techniques of academic drawing.
In addition, applicants to the Journalism and Reporting educational programme completed an essay as part of the creative examination, demonstrating their ability to express ideas clearly and coherently, analyse information critically, and communicate effectively in written English.
The creative entrance examinations will continue over the coming days. This stage of the admission process is designed to assess applicants' professional aptitude for their chosen field of study while providing a comprehensive evaluation of their creative potential.
