Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University proudly celebrated the graduation of students from its Faculty of Multilingual Education, marking an important milestone in the academic and professional journey of this year's graduates.
This year's graduation ceremony coincided with a significant moment in Kazakhstan's history, as the People's Constitution officially entered into force on July 1, symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter in the nation's development. The occasion added special meaning to the celebration as graduates embarked on their own new chapter as young professionals.
The event opened with a congratulatory video message from Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, addressed to graduates across the country's higher education institutions.
In the 2025–2026 academic year, the Faculty graduated 530 students, including 430 bachelor's degree graduates and 100 master's graduates. Among them, 95 graduates earned honors diplomas, reflecting their outstanding academic achievements and the Faculty's commitment to educational excellence.
The ceremony brought together the University's leadership, faculty members, graduates, their families, and distinguished guests. Salamat Nurmukhanovich Idrisov, Chairman of the Management Board and Rector of Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, congratulated the graduates and described the ceremony as the culmination of years of dedication, perseverance, and academic growth. He emphasized the symbolic significance of celebrating graduation on the day the People's Constitution came into force, noting that both events represent the beginning of a new stage marked by responsibility, opportunity, and service to society.
The Rector encouraged graduates to apply their knowledge and skills for the benefit of Kazakhstan, to pursue lifelong professional development, and to uphold the values of integrity, excellence, and civic responsibility throughout their careers.
Among the distinguished guests was Daryn Duysenbayevich Shamuratov, Deputy Akim of the Atyrau Region, who congratulated the graduates and highlighted the importance of the historic occasion. Graduates who completed their studies with honors were ceremonially presented with copies of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, symbolizing their responsibility as educated citizens committed to the country's future.
The Faculty of Multilingual Education is one of the University's longest-established academic divisions, with a distinguished tradition of preparing highly qualified specialists in Kazakh Language and Literature, Russian Philology, Foreign Languages, Translation Studies, and Philology. Today, the Faculty continues to equip students with the knowledge, multilingual proficiency, and professional competencies required to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world.
Students study Kazakh, Russian, English, Chinese, French, German, and Turkish, while benefiting from modern teaching methods and innovative educational technologies that prepare them for careers in education, translation, research, and international communication.
