Diplomas Awarded to Graduates of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology

Today, Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University held a solemn graduation ceremony to award diplomas to the graduates of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology.

The diploma awarding ceremony commenced with a video message from Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, addressed to graduates of the country's higher education institutions.

This year, the Faculty graduated 318 students, including 252 bachelor's degree graduates and 66 master's degree graduates. Among them, 21 graduates completed their studies with outstanding academic performance and were awarded Diplomas with Honors.

The Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology is one of the university’s oldest academic divisions, distinguished by its long-standing history and rich scientific and educational traditions. Over the years, the Faculty has prepared thousands of highly qualified professionals. Its alumni include renowned scientists, educators, engineers, IT specialists, public servants, and community leaders. Today, graduates of the Faculty successfully work throughout Kazakhstan and abroad, making significant contributions to the development of education, science, industry, and digital technologies.

The ceremony was attended by the university administration, faculty members, graduates’ parents, and distinguished guests. Congratulating the graduates, Salamat Nurmukhanovich Idrissov, Chairman of the Management Board and Rector of Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, noted that the day marked the culmination of several years of dedication, perseverance, and the pursuit of knowledge.

"Today is a truly special day. It marks the culmination of years of hard work, determination, and academic achievement, while also representing the first step toward an independent professional career. Physics, mathematics, and information technology are among the most in-demand fields of the digital era. These disciplines form the foundation of our country's scientific and technological advancement. I am confident that your knowledge and professional competencies will contribute to the continued prosperity of Kazakhstan.

Throughout your studies, the university has sought not only to provide you with a high-quality education but also to instill strong values, foster a culture of scientific inquiry, and nurture a deep sense of responsibility. Now is the time to justify that trust by applying your knowledge and skills for the benefit of our country," the Rector emphasized.

The Rector also expressed his sincere gratitude to the faculty members, the staff of the Faculty, and the graduates’ parents for their invaluable contribution to the students’ success. He wished the young professionals continued career growth, professional excellence, and every success in their future endeavors.

During the ceremony, Askhat Salimovich Imangaliyev, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Professor, also addressed the graduates with a congratulatory speech. He noted that a university diploma is not only the result of years of dedicated study but also a symbol of great responsibility and new opportunities. Professor Imangaliyev encouraged the graduates to apply their knowledge effectively for the benefit of the country, continuously enhance their professional skills, and make meaningful contributions to the advancement of science, education, and digital technologies.

The ceremony also recognized graduates who had made outstanding contributions to university life, including students distinguished in the arts, sports, volunteer activities, regional and national debate tournaments, and innovative startup projects. They received special letters of appreciation on behalf of the Chairman of the Management Board and Rector of Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, Salamat Idrissov, the Akim of Atyrau, the Atyrau Regional Department of Education, the Department of Internal Policy, and the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Atyrau Region.

The diploma award ceremony took place in a festive atmosphere and became one of the most memorable milestones in the graduates’ lives.
