Certificates Awarded to the Fifth Graduating Class of “Ustaz”

A ceremonial certificate awarding event titled “Spreading Wings at ‘Ustaz’: Becoming a Teacher is Our Dream!” was held at Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University for the graduates of the “Ustaz” Boarding School of the 2025–2026 academic year.

This year marks the 5th anniversary of the founding of the “Ustaz” Boarding School. In this milestone year, the school celebrated its fifth graduating class. A total of 39 students completed Grade 11, including two recipients of the prestigious Altyn Belgi award and four graduates who received Certificates of Excellence.

The ceremony was attended by Murat Uteshov, Chairman of the Atyrau Regional Council of Veterans and Honorary Citizen of the Atyrau Region; Askhat Imangaliyev, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, and Honorary Citizen of the Atyrau Region; and Kadyr Zhusip, university veteran educator, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, and Honorary Citizen of the Atyrau Region.

Also present at the event were the Chairman of the Board–Rector of the University, Professor Salamat Idrisov, members of the academic staff, vice-rectors, faculty deans, the boarding school staff, and parents.

In his address, Professor Salamat Idrisov noted that over the past five years, the “Ustaz” Boarding School has become a distinguished educational institution for talented young people by successfully combining high-quality education with meaningful character development. He emphasized that the school’s achievements are the result of the dedicated efforts of teachers, the trust and support of parents, and the students’ commitment to learning.

Wishing the graduates success in their future endeavors, he highlighted that a new chapter of life is beginning for them—one filled with opportunities, choices, and responsibilities. He stressed that the knowledge and values acquired at school would always serve as a reliable guide. The Rector encouraged the graduates to believe in themselves, pursue their dreams, and become educated and highly qualified citizens who faithfully serve their country and contribute to society, regardless of the career path they choose.

He also expressed his gratitude to teachers and parents for their invaluable contribution to the upbringing of the younger generation and wished the school community continued success, while extending his best wishes to the graduates for a bright future and a successful journey ahead.

During the ceremony, educators who had made significant contributions to the field of education were honored with awards. Graduates were presented with their certificates of general secondary education, while recipients of the Altyn Belgi award and Certificates of Excellence received special recognitions.

The celebratory evening concluded with the performance of the “Ustaz” anthem, followed by heartfelt words of encouragement and best wishes for the graduates’ future success.
