Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University hosted the graduation ceremony titled “Taking Flight from ‘Ustaz’: Becoming a Teacher Is a Dream” for the 2025-2026 graduating class of the Ustaz Boarding School.
This year marks the fifth anniversary of the school’s establishment. In this milestone year, the fifth graduating class bid farewell to their alma mater. A total of 39 eleventh-grade students graduated, including two recipients of the prestigious Altyn Belgi award and four graduates who received Certificates of Excellence.
Among the honored guests were Murat Oteshov, Chairman of the Atyrau Regional Veterans Council and Honorary Citizen of the Atyrau Region; Askhat Imangaliev, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, and Honorary Citizen of the Atyrau Region; and Professor Qadyr Zhusip, Doctor of Philological Sciences, University Veteran Teacher, and Honorary Citizen of the Atyrau Region.
The ceremony was also attended by Salamat Idrissov, Chairman of the Board - Rector of the University, professors, faculty members, vice-rectors, deans, the boarding school staff, and parents.
In his congratulatory address, Salamat Idrissov noted that over the past five years, the Ustaz Boarding School has become an educational institution distinguished by its successful combination of high-quality education and moral upbringing while nurturing gifted young people. He emphasized that the school’s achievements are the result of the dedication of its teachers, the trust and support of parents, and the students’ commitment to learning.
Addressing the graduates, the Rector wished them success in their future endeavors, noting that a new chapter of life was beginning, filled with important choices, opportunities, and responsibilities. He encouraged the graduates to remain confident, pursue their dreams, and become knowledgeable and highly qualified professionals who will serve their country with integrity and contribute positively to society. He also stressed that the education and values gained at school would always serve as a guiding compass throughout their lives.
The Rector expressed sincere gratitude to the teachers and parents for their invaluable contribution to educating the younger generation and wished the school continued success and its graduates a bright future.
During the ceremony, teachers who had made significant contributions to education were presented with awards. Graduates received their secondary education certificates, while recipients of the Altyn Belgi distinction and Certificates of Excellence were honored with special awards.
The celebration concluded with the performance of the Ustaz School Anthem, accompanied by heartfelt wishes for the graduates’ future success and prosperity.
