Students of Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University achieved outstanding results at the KMG Digital National Hackathon, winning first and second prizes.
A university team, supervised by Asylbek Gizatov, Senior Research Fellow at the Research Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Applied Technologies, won first place.
The winning team included:
* Bektas Zhaksylyk - third-year student of the Business Analytics and IT Project Management educational program;
* Galymzhan Amangeldi - second-year student of the Business Analytics and IT Project Management educational program;
* Azamat Omirtai - third-year student of the Systems and Network Administration educational program;
* Mirzhan Faizullayev - third-year student of the Applied Informatics in Design educational program.
Notably, the team had previously represented the university at the international AI Hackathon in Tashkent, where they gained valuable experience in solving advanced technological challenges on the international stage.
The second-place award went to a team consisting of Orynbasar Izbasar, a first-year master’s student in the Software Engineering educational program, and Asylbek Gizatov, Senior Research Fellow at the Research Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Applied Technologies and a first-year master’s student in the Mathematics and Computer Science educational program.
