International Cooperation - The Main Direction of Development

An official online international meeting was held between Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University and Baku Eurasian University of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Representing Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University were Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization Bakhyt Altynbasov, faculty members, and heads of departments. Representing Baku Eurasian University were Vice-Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor Sevda Rzayeva, Head of the Department of Economics, Associate Professor Vyusala Nagiyeva, and Head of the Department of International Relations and Project Management Aigul Akhmadova, who introduced the university’s international achievements and educational opportunities.

The main purpose of the meeting was to strengthen international cooperation between the two universities, develop academic relations, and expand mutually beneficial partnerships in the field of internationalization.

During the online meeting, the participants discussed:

🔹 implementation of academic mobility programs;

🔹 exchange programs for students and faculty members;

🔹 development of dual-degree programs;

🔹 exchange of experience in master’s and doctoral programs;

🔹 preparation of joint scientific projects and international research publications;

🔹 signing of bilateral memorandums.

Baku Eurasian University announced its readiness to admit three students from Atyrau University in the upcoming academic year and provide them with free accommodation. The university also expressed interest in implementing joint educational projects within dual-degree programs at the master’s and doctoral levels.

During the meeting, university representatives compared educational programs and proposed future cooperation in implementing dual-degree programs and strengthening student exchange within academic mobility initiatives.

At the end of the meeting, both parties confirmed their readiness to strengthen cooperation through official agreements and jointly work within the international scientific and educational space.

Such international meetings undoubtedly enhance the university’s reputation in the global educational community and create new opportunities for students and young researchers.
