On May 3, 2026, the Study in Kazakhstan education exhibition was held in Baku. More than 20 universities from Kazakhstan took part in the event. The main purpose of the exhibition was to introduce Kazakhstani universities to Azerbaijani school graduates and provide comprehensive information about academic programs and study opportunities.
Representing Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University were Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization Bakhyt Altynbassov and specialist of the Office of International Cooperation and Internationalization Madiyar Sabyr.
During the exhibition, informational brochures and presentation materials about the university’s academic programs, admission requirements, and study opportunities were provided. The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Azerbaijan also attended the event, presenting Kazakhstan’s culture and traditions.
As part of the exhibition, university representatives met with educational agencies in Azerbaijan that guide students to study abroad and discussed prospects for cooperation. As a result of the negotiations, the agencies expressed interest in sending Azerbaijani students to study at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University in the future.
