Ethno-Festival “Dostyq Mekeni” Held at Atyrau University

A festive ethno-festival titled “Dostyq Mekeni” was held at Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University in celebration of the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan.

The large-scale event was jointly organized by the “Qoğamdyq Kelisim” Municipal State Institution of the Atyrau Region Internal Policy Department and Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.

The main purpose of the ethno-festival was to strengthen public harmony, promote interethnic unity and cultural diversity, and widely popularize the values of national solidarity.

The event brought together representatives of ethnocultural associations, members of the Council of Elders and the Council of Mothers of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of Atyrau Region, Assembly youth representatives, university students, law enforcement officers, and the staff of the Workers’ Cultural Center.

As part of the festival, a fair was organized within the framework of the “Inclusive Assembly” project, while participants enjoyed a vibrant festive concert program. Songs and dances of various ethnic groups, traditional musical performances, and theatrical productions created a warm and celebratory atmosphere for the audience.

In addition, creative teams from ethnocultural associations presented artistic performances that demonstrated the spirit of friendship and unity in Kazakhstan. The “Dostyq” challenge organized during the event encouraged active participation and became a symbol of harmony and cooperation.

The “Dostyq Mekeni” ethno-festival once again confirmed its significance as an important cultural platform promoting unity, mutual respect, and social cohesion in a multiethnic society.

At the conclusion of the celebration, participants emphasized the importance of national unity and harmony and expressed their wishes for the peaceful and sustainable development of Kazakhstan.
