“Study in Kazakhstan” Higher Education Exhibition Launched

At the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the “Study in Kazakhstan” higher education exhibition is being held across the country from April 7 to 25, 2026. The project aims to support talented youth and increase access to higher education.

This large-scale educational event covers 14 cities and spans over 6,000 kilometers. Its main goal is to introduce prospective students to the educational opportunities offered by leading universities in Kazakhstan, as well as branches of foreign universities operating in the country.

As part of the exhibition, students and their parents receive comprehensive information about academic programs, state grants, admission requirements, the Unified National Testing (UNT) process, and study conditions. Career guidance sessions are also conducted, with leading experts providing consultations.

At the official opening ceremony, Ruslan Yemelbayev, Advisor to the Minister of Science and Higher Education, highlighted the importance of quality education for young people.

Throughout the event, career guidance specialists and education experts - Aidos Zhumanazar, Farkhat Sultabayev, and Orazbek Apsattar - provide applicants with guidance on choosing a profession and applying to universities.

The first day of the exhibition took place in Astana, bringing together 54 universities from across the country. Participation has been highly active among 10th-11th grade students: over 3,500 in Astana, more than 2,000 in Pavlodar, over 3,000 in Semey, more than 1,500 in Ust-Kamenogorsk, over 3,500 in Almaty, and 3,650 in Kaskelen.

The exhibition continues at major universities, including L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Toraighyrov University, Shakarim University, S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, SDU University, and others.
