A regional scientific seminar titled “Trends in the Development of Fine Arts and Design in the Turkic World of the 21st Century” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, organized by the Department of Fine Arts and Design.
The main goal of the seminar was to discuss innovative directions in contemporary fine arts and design of Turkic peoples, explore the integration of traditional ornamentation with modern graphic solutions, and enhance the role of youth in promoting national heritage through new media.
The event brought together students, master’s students, teachers, experienced designers, and art scholars from universities and colleges.
During the seminar, participants discussed postmodern trends in the art of the Turkic world in the 21st century, the integration of traditional ornamentation with modern design, as well as the development of digital graphics and UI/UX design. In addition, workshops for young designers and artists were organized, creating a platform for experience exchange.
Following the seminar, it is planned to establish a creative laboratory titled “Modern Design of the Turkic World” at the department. This initiative is expected to contribute to the development of young specialists’ creative potential and elevate national design to a new level.
