International Scientific and Practical Conference “Youth and Science: Present and Future” Held

An international scientific and practical conference of young researchers titled “Youth and Science: Present and Future” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.

At the opening ceremony, the Rector of Atyrau University, Salamat Idrissov, welcomed participants and emphasized the importance of science and innovation for national development.

As part of the conference, a traditional award ceremony was held. Scientists, project leaders, and young researchers who made significant contributions to research activities were awarded certificates of appreciation. Winners of nominations such as “Best Reviewer” and “Best Young Researcher” were recognized, and winners of the research competition received diplomas and monetary prizes. In addition, the special award “Young Researcher - 2026” was presented to outstanding students and master’s degree students.

During the plenary session, both domestic and international scholars delivered presentations on current issues in science. Among them were:

Associate Professor Khayala Aliguliyeva from Sumgait State University;

Professor Ronny Berndtsson from Lund University;

Senior Lecturer Sadokat Uktamova from Kokand University;

Associate Professor Sabina Zhamburbayeva from Karaganda Buketov National Research University;

Associate Professor Gulmira Yermekbayeva from K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University;

and PhD Maksot Rakhmetov, Associate Professor and Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists at Atyrau University.

In the afternoon, sectional meetings continued across six areas, where participants presented their research and exchanged experience:

I. Khalel Dosmukhamedov Studies: Language and Literature Issues; Digitalization in Foreign Language Teaching Methods

II. Youth Research in Physics and Mathematics in the Context of Sustainable Development; Innovations in IT and Education

III. Humanitarian Interpretation of National Identity in the Context of Globalization and Digitalization

IV. Digital Transformation of Economics, Finance, and Management; Development of Legal Systems in the Digital Era

V. “Honest Citizen” Education and Artificial Intelligence

VI. Biology and Chemistry: Research in Science Education, Aquaculture, and Innovative Materials; Geography, Tourism, and Ecology: Environment, Natural Resource Management, and Educational Technologies for Sustainable Development
