Subject Olympiad Held for School Students at the University

An academic Olympiad in mathematics, physics, and computer science was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, organized by the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, and Information Technology. The competition brought together 11th-grade students from general secondary schools across Atyrau city and region.
The Olympiad aimed to spark students’ interest in academic subjects, enhance their intellectual potential, develop their ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, and identify talented students, encouraging them to pursue higher education.
Top-performing students from various schools in the city and region participated in the competition, showcasing their knowledge and skills. A total of 103 students competed in mathematics, 40 in computer science, and 30 in physics. Participants tackled challenging problems and demonstrated their logical thinking abilities.
At the conclusion of the two-round Olympiad, the most outstanding students were awarded certificates of achievement, letters of appreciation, and commemorative gifts on behalf of the university.
In recognition of their excellence, the university administration awarded scholarships to the winners:
– 100% tuition discount for 3 students
– 50% tuition discount for 6 students
– 30% tuition discount for 10 students
