Honored Scientist of Tatarstan Albert Burkhanov Visited Atyrau University
Honored Scientist of the Republic of Tatarstan and historian Albert Burkhanov paid a special visit to Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, where he delivered an insightful lecture to students and faculty members.
During his lecture, the scholar addressed topics such as the study of archaeological and architectural monuments from the Altyn Orda era (Golden Orda) era in the Eurasian region, as well as issues related to their preservation, improvement, and use for tourism and educational purposes. He also provided extensive information on the historical significance and archaeological features of ancient and medieval cities in Central Asia, Kazakhstan, and the Volga-Ural region, including those located along the Great Silk Road.
As part of his visit, Albert Burkhanov donated several of his scholarly works to the university library. He also presented the Rector of Atyrau University, Salamat Idrissov, with a certificate of academician from the “Europe-Asia” International Humanitarian Academy. Additionally, the Tatarstan scholar presented letters of appreciation to Rector Salamat Idrissov and Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations Kansulu Utepkaliyeva.
