Working Visit of the Spanish Ambassador to Kazakhstan and the Director of Tecnicas Reunidas to Atyrau University

Today, on April 1, 2025, His Excellency Mr. Luis Francisco Martinez Montes, the Ambassador of Spain to Kazakhstan, and Mr. Oscar Lombera, the Director of Tecnicas Reunidas, paid a working visit to Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.
The distinguished guests were welcomed by the Chairman of the Board and Rector of the University, Mr. Salamat Nurmukhanovich Idrissov, Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations, Ms. Kansulu Musayevna Utepkaliyeva, as well as representatives of the university’s International Partnership and Globalization Office.
During the visit, discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Spain, as well as exploring opportunities for collaboration in education, science, and technology. Special attention was given to joint projects aimed at enhancing the qualifications of students and professionals, as well as integrating advanced technologies into the educational process.
Additionally, the guests were introduced to the university’s infrastructure, including laboratories, academic and research facilities, and the latest developments in science and technology. Mr. Oscar Lombera highlighted the importance of such meetings for advancing engineering and technological disciplines at the university, while Mr. Martinez Montes emphasized the role of education in fostering cultural and economic ties between the two countries.
This visit marked an important step in strengthening international cooperation and opened new prospects for the implementation of joint projects and initiatives. We are confident that this collaboration will contribute to the successful development of our university and the region as a whole.
