A meeting with international students was held

An informational meeting for international students was held at the Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.
The main goal of the meeting was to improve the quality of education for foreign students, facilitate the adaptation process in Kazakhstan and ensure legal security.
The meeting was held by Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Youth Policy Layla Yerbolatova, who familiarized the students with the requirements of the law and internal rules.
The main topics discussed at the meeting with foreign students included the specifics of studying for foreign students in Kazakhstani universities, law and order, traditional values, psychological support, accessibility of medical services, migration legislation and document processing. Particular attention was paid to compliance with migration legislation. Senior Inspector of the Migration Service Department of the Atyrau Police Department, Senior Police Lieutenant Aizada Kuttybayeva spoke about the rules for the stay of foreign citizens in Kazakhstan and shared important information on compliance with migration legislation. She provided information on the procedure for registration at the place of residence and visa processing, and explained in detail the laws and responsibilities in our country.
During the meeting, the Head of the Social Issues and Youth Work Department, Sairan Sabyruly, answered questions from students about accommodation in dormitories, introduced student organizations established at the university, and invited them to collaborate. He also noted that if psychological difficulties arise during the adaptation process, students can seek help from a psychologist.
At the Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, 70 foreign students are currently studying. Through this informational meeting, the students increased their legal literacy and received answers to a number of questions.
