A round table titled “The Relevance of Academic Works of Academician A. Zhubanov” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University within the Scientific School “Young Music Researchers” led by Candidate of Art Studies Bakyt Turmagambetova.
The event was dedicated to the 120th anniversary of prominent composer, Doctor of Art Studies, and Academician Akhmet Zhubanov.
Art scholars participated in the discussion, including Associate Professor Ainur Kaztuganova (M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art, Almaty) and Senior Lecturer Aigul Yergaliyeva (M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University, Oral), who joined online and presented their research.
Students of the scientific school - first-year students of the “Traditional Music Art” program Asemay Kusaiyn and Aruzhan Khoblan - also delivered presentations.
During the event, students of the Department of Music and Arts performed works by Akhmet Zhubanov, including “Ariya,” “Karlygash,” and “Bi Kui.”
