The program of training bachelors in the direction of 6b01510-teacher of geography and history is aimed at training teachers who have innovative thinking, values of the pedagogical profession, possess advanced teaching technologies, research and historical and geographical skills in the field of geography and history, are able to organically integrate into modern dynamic conditions.

The training process is carried out in the form of lectures, seminars, practical and laboratory classes, and also provides for educational and professional practices, the preparation of course and diploma projects.

The uniqueness of the educational program of bachelors in the direction 6b01510 – "teacher of geography and history, developed in accordance with the state educational standard "teacher" and the professional standard " teacher:

- A high level of theoretical training in the field of geographical and historical science and current trends in the development of Education.

-Skills of conducting educational and research activities in schools, colleges and other educational institutions.

- The optimal ratio of theoretical and practical courses of training in the educational process through the organization of educational and industrial practice.

- Ability to work on inclusive education.

- Knowledge of the principles of organizing and conducting the educational process on the updated content of Education.

-Formation of self-development skills, within the framework of which the student is aimed at constant professional self-improvement.

 

This educational program (OP) "Geography (IP)" is a national educational program for teacher training, which was developed in cooperation with various Kazakhstani universities and with the involvement of international consultants. Due to the fact that this is a national educational program, descriptive texts in it do not provide specific information, but rather highlight general pedagogical principles and cross-cutting topics. More detailed descriptions, such as methodologies and assessments, will be defined in the university implementation plans, taking into account institutional and regional conditions. 

The Geography (IP) Educational Program (OP) is a teacher education program for teachers who wish to specialize in teaching geography in educational institutions (schools, colleges, gymnasiums).

The subject component consists of 9 modules: "Module research skills in geography", "Module physical geography", "Module interaction of society and nature", "Module digitalization of geographical education", "Module Geography of Kazakhstan", "Module social geography", "Module teaching and assessment for learning", "Module geographical world view", "Module applied Geography".

Training of geography teachers with subject training in the field of modern geography, general professional, communicative and digital competencies, capable of organizing the educational and educational process, carrying out professional activities in the pedagogical field. The uniqueness of the OP lies in the fact that the developed educational program in geography increases the emphasis on the development of research, geoinformation and digital skills, the development of functional literacy, critical thinking, interdisciplinarity and the development of flexible skills, student-centered learning principles. The developed competencies in geography, such as theory and methodology of geographical science, practical methods of teaching geography, research competencies, value-oriented competencies are aimed at communication skills, cooperation, development, reflection, research and the formation of an emotional and value attitude to the world around them. 

The modules include cross-course subjects and interdisciplinarity. OPS will be in demand both in education and in science, as they form students' research skills.  Learning about practical methods of geographical research during field practice, students are involved in geographical research and project work from the first stages of their studies. The educational program uses a practice-oriented learning model, such as integrated learning, STEM and CLIL technologies in the educational process to bring theoretical knowledge closer to the needs of life.

The Educational institution provides equal opportunities for learning, without prejudice to the rights and interests of future teachers, while preserving the principles of equality, respect, and tolerance. By its nature, it is interdisciplinary, oriented towards future teachers, scientifically integrated and problem-oriented, and the choice of courses is determined by current issues of history and society and also corresponds to international course descriptors.

The OP is based on the principles of constructive alignment, where teaching and assessment methods, as well as subject courses, are chosen in such a way as to ensure the achievement and measurement of the competencies outlined in the OP. The OP also follows an inclusive approach, taking into account the multi-ethnic and multi-religious composition of future teachers and their diverse learning support needs.

 

The Bachelor's training program in the direction" 6B01101-Tourism and service " is aimed at training highly qualified tourist personnel who are able to improve the Tourism and hospitality industry, ensure state regulation of the tourism industry, carry out professional activities aimed at organizing and planning preventive and search and rescue operations in the tourism industry, possess knowledge in the field of science, modern innovative technologies. in relation to events, as well as other areas of human activity directly or indirectly related to tourism.

Distinctive features of the OP:

- Close cooperation is carried out with tourism companies, hotels and restaurants and exhibition operators of Atyrau, their opinions as employers are taken into account when developing and choosing the trajectory of EP.

- the study of new information technologies and methods of work on the collection and processing of information is carried out;

- training is carried out in three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English;

- international practice is being conducted, which allows students to see the countries of near and far abroad, assess their tourism potential, compare the markets of tourist services, the state of tourism infrastructure facilities, the advantages and disadvantages of infrastructure facilities, ways to promote the tourist product, advertising of tourist products, collect information and make proposals for the development of Tourism;

- opportunity to study abroad on the exchange of students (1st semester ) ;

- Objects of tourism infrastructure and the opportunity to participate in seminars, courses and round tables held by the Regional Department of Tourism;

- availability of long-term contracts with practice bases;
