Biography
ZHANNA RAFIKOVNA ABUZYAROVA is a Master of Economic Sciences, Senior Lecturer, and a qualified educator and researcher with many years of experience in higher education.
She graduated from Atyrau State University named after Khalel Dosmukhamedov in 1997 with a degree in “Economics and Management.” Later, in 2005, she obtained a second higher education degree in “Law” from the same university. In 2012, she earned a Master’s degree in “Economics” from M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan State University.
She began her professional career in 2001 as a lecturer at the Department of Management at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University and has been working as a senior lecturer at this university ever since.
Her scientific interests are focused on human resource management. She has published a number of scientific works in this field and presented her research in both domestic and international scientific journals. Her publications have appeared in academic journals in Poland, Ukraine, and other countries, including Scopus-indexed journals.
Her main research areas include improving human resource management systems, labor motivation, incentives for public servants, human capital development, as well as digital transformation and sustainable development of enterprises.
Zhanna Rafikovna is also actively involved in educational and methodological work. She is the author and co-author of textbooks such as “Management” (2023), “Corporate Media Communications Management” (2024), and “History of Economic Thought” (2025).
For professional development, she has completed various courses and internships at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, National Alumni Network, QazTrade Academy, Coursera platform, as well as at Eurasian National University and other international and national organizations. She holds certificates in areas such as teaching methodology of economics, international trade, project management, inclusive education, artificial intelligence, and neural networks.
In her teaching activity, she delivers undergraduate courses including “Economic Theory,” “Micro- and Macroeconomics,” “Academic Writing,” and “Innovative Management,” as well as “HR Management,” “Theory of Public Administration,” “Corporate Media Communications Management,” “Decision-Making in Public Administration,” and “History of Economic Thought.”
Her work has been highly recognized. She received an appreciation letter from the “Nur Otan” party in 2016, a letter of appreciation from the regional maslikhat in 2022, and an acknowledgment from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2024. In addition, under her supervision, students have won prizes in international scientific competitions.
