Biography

Sagyngerey Bolatkalievich Aymuratov is a Candidate of Philosophical Sciences and Associate Professor. He was born on December 30, 1969, in Atyrau. In 1987, he graduated from Secondary School No. 15 named after Abai in Atyrau. From 1990 to 1995, he studied at the Faculty of History and Philology of H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University, majoring in Kazakh Language and Literature. In 2005, he defended his candidate (PhD equivalent) dissertation in philosophy. In 2025, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor. Since 1992, he has been working at H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. Since 2000, he has been a lecturer at the Department of Philosophy, Political Science, and Sociology. From 2017 to 2020, he served as Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines. In 2021–2022, he was Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts. From 2021 to 2025, he chaired the University Alumni Association. His research interests include the history of Kazakh philosophy, the worldview of medieval thinkers, philosophy of religion, and social and humanitarian studies. He is the author of about 40 scientific publications presented at international and national conferences. His works have been published in recognized academic journals, including those indexed in SCOPUS. His candidate dissertation was devoted to the topic: “The Worldview of Akhmet Yugnaki” (2005, Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies). He has been awarded the Certificate of Honor and Letters of Appreciation from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the A. Baitursynov Medal, and other distinctions.
