Aldar Sarsenovich Sarsenov

Biography

He was born on December 24, 1949, in the village of Zharsuat, Inder district, Guryev (Atyrau) region. Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor. He began his career as a worker at a state farm, and in 1967 entered the Faculty of History of Kazakh State University (now Al-Farabi Kazakh National University), graduating in 1972. In 1972–1973, he worked as a school teacher; in 1973, on a competitive basis, he was appointed as a senior lecturer at the Guryev Pedagogical Institute (now H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University). In 1978–1981, he was a postgraduate student at Kazakh State University. In 1981–1987, he worked as a senior lecturer and associate professor. From March 1987 to November 1990, he served as a lecturer at the Guryev Regional Party Committee. Since 1990, he has held the positions of Head of Department and Dean at Atyrau University. From 2000 to 2009, he worked at Aktobe State University and Aktobe Pedagogical Institute as Head of Department, Dean, and Vice-Rector. Since 2009, he has been working at Atyrau University as Head of Department and Professor. He is the author of more than 200 scientific articles, 9 monographs, and textbooks. His works have been published in France, England, Germany, India, Romania, Ukraine, and Russia. He is an Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a recipient of the A.
