Biography
Sayakhat Gabletovna Karakenova was born in 1986 in the village of Ganyushkino, Kurmangazy District, Atyrau Region, Republic of Kazakhstan.
Education
From 1992 to 2003, she studied at the Abai Kazakh Secondary School.
From 2003 to 2008, she studied at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University, majoring in 010200 – Applied Mathematics, where she obtained the qualification of Mathematician and Systems Programmer.
From 2008 to 2010, she completed a Master’s degree in Mathematics (6N0601) at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University and was awarded the academic degree of Master of Mathematics.
From 2018 to 2021, she pursued doctoral studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in the specialty 6D060100 – Mathematics, completing the full theoretical course of the doctoral program. In 2023, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation in 6D060100 – Mathematics before the Dissertation Council for awarding the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the educational programs 6D060100 (8D05401) – Mathematics and 6D070500 (8D06104) – Mathematical and Computer Modeling, and was awarded the PhD degree.
Professional Experience
In 2008, she worked as a teacher of Mathematics and Informatics at the college of the Atyrau Engineering and Humanities Institute.
In 2010, she was appointed as a Lecturer (Master’s degree holder) at the Department of Mathematics and Methods of Teaching Mathematics, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University.
From 2015 to 2016, she served as Head of the Department of Mathematics and Methods of Teaching Mathematics.
From 2016 to 2017, she worked as Deputy Dean for Academic and Educational Affairs at the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies.
From 2017 to 2018, she served as Head of the Strategy Implementation and Analytics Department.
In 2018, she worked as Head of the Strategic Initiatives Department.
From 2018 to 2020, she worked as a Senior Lecturer at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
From 2018 to 2021, she pursued doctoral studies in Mathematics at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
In 2022, within the framework of the “Young Scientist” grant program (2022–2024), she served as the Principal Investigator of the research project No. AR15473218 “Methods for Solving Boundary Value Problems for Second-Order Integro-Differential Equations” and worked as a postdoctoral researcher.
In 2023, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation and obtained the PhD degree.
In 2024, she became a member of the Council of Young Scientists at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.
Since 2025, she has been working as an Associate Professor (PhD) at the Department of Mathematics and Methods of Teaching Mathematics.
