Biography
Professional Experience:
29 years of academic experience. From 1995 to 2025 she worked as a trainee teacher, lecturer, senior lecturer, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Acting Associate Professor at the Departments of Zoology, Biology, Agriculture, Biology and Fisheries, and as Head of the Department of Geography.
Since 2025 — Deputy Dean for Research, Faculty of Natural Sciences.
Education, Academic Degree and Title:
In 1995, she graduated from the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences of Atyrau State University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov (currently Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov) with a degree in “Teacher of Biology and Geography”.
In 1996, she entered the part-time postgraduate program at the Institute of Zoology of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, majoring in “03.00.19 – Parasitology,” and in 2004 she defended her dissertation to obtain the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences.
In 2011, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Biology.
In 2024, she was confirmed as Candidate of Biological Sciences, Acting Associate Professor.
Research Interests: structure and functions of animals, zoology, invertebrate zoology, vertebrate zoology, parasitology, parasites of fish in the lower reaches of the Ural River.
Courses taught:
• Zoology (invertebrates and vertebrates),
• Structure and functions of animals,
• Methodological issues of biological education,
• Project design in education.
(Courses are taught in Russian and Kazakh)
