Fourth-year student of OP 6v04201-Jurisprudence Zhangir Temirkhanov took part in the international Internet Olympiad "Electoral Systems of the World's Countries" among universities of the CIS countries and took first place. The OP team took 3rd place in the Republican Legal Tournament organized by Suleyman Demirel University.

In 2021, at the Republican Olympiad "Know the Basics of the Constitution and State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan," organized by the Karaganda University named after E. A. Buketov, the "Zheti Zhargy" team, representing Atyrau University, took first place. In 2024, fourth-year student M. Medetova took third place in the Republican Student Subject Olympiad, which was attended by 100 students from 27 universities in the "Law" program.



In 2025, at the national competition for the best scientific work of students, organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the leadership of senior lecturer of the department V. Nauryzova, Aizada Sabidullina was awarded a 1st degree Diploma.

The university has held the traditional "I Know the Constitution by Heart!" competition for over 10 years. The main prize is an educational grant. Ninety percent of the competition's winners, over the years, are students majoring in Law.
