Myrzatai Isataiuly Mazhitov

Myrzatai Isataiuly Mazhitov is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Fine Arts and Design of H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, Master of Arts, and a member of the Union of Designers of Kazakhstan. He was born on August 22, 1983. From 2000 to 2004, he studied Interior Design at Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University. Later, from 2014 to 2017, he completed a Master’s degree in Design at Makhambet Utemisov West Kazakhstan State University and obtained a Master of Arts degree. His professional career has been closely connected with H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. Since 2004, he has been working at the Department of Fine Arts and Design, combining teaching, research-methodological, and creative activities. In his academic and professional work, he pays particular attention to design, graphic solutions, art education, the formation of students’ personalities through national values, and the development of innovative teaching practices. He supervises student research projects and contributes to the development of their academic and creative potential. He continuously improves his professional qualifications through training programs offered by the Orleu National Center for Professional Development, the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts, Akdeniz University, Häme University of Applied Sciences, and other institutions. His areas of professional development include Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, graphic design, textile and design arts, current issues in art education and design, pedagogical models, inclusive education, and the improvement of professional teaching quality. He also participated in sculpture and painting workshops במסגרת the “Saraishyk – Heritage of the Ancestors” project. His research publications address visual organization of urban and artistic environments, woodcraft technologies, national education, the formation of spiritual and civic values, and the pedagogical foundations of innovative teaching practice. His works have been published in university academic journals and in international scientific and practical conference proceedings. He actively participates in international exhibitions, symposia, and seminars. He has established professional ties with artistic and design platforms in Türkiye, including Yozgat Bozok University, international art camps, and symposia in the Mediterranean region. In 2025, within the framework of the international Orhun program, he completed a research internship at Uludag University in Bursa, Türkiye. For his professional achievements, he has received several awards and distinctions. In 2018, he was recognized for his contribution to the development of higher and postgraduate education in Kazakhstan. In 2020, he received a Letter of Appreciation from the Atyrau Regional Maslikhat, and in 2024, he was awarded the Akhmet Baitursynov badge, as well as a Letter of Appreciation for his support of the “Saraishyk – Heritage of the Ancestors” project.
