Arman Zhumagaziyev

Professional Experience: Has 32 years of professional experience. From 05.09.1994 to 30.11.1994, he worked as a teacher of Geography and Biology at H. Naubetov Secondary School in Zhanbay village. From 05.12.1994 to 15.08.1995, he was appointed Senior Laboratory Assistant at the Department of Botany of H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. From 15.08.1995 to 01.09.1996, he was transferred to the position of Trainee Lecturer at the Department of Botany and Geography, and from 01.09.1996 to 19.01.2001, he served as a Lecturer at the same department. From 01.10.1999 to 16.08.2001, he was appointed Deputy Dean of the Faculties of Customs Affairs and Law. From 16.08.2001 to 20.12.2003, he served as Deputy Dean of the Distance Learning Faculty. From 09.09.2008 to 19.03.2010, he worked as the Rector’s Assistant for Student Affairs. From 19.03.2010 to 20.09.2010, he was appointed Acting Head of the Department of Geography. From 03.11.2016 to 01.03.2018, he served as Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee. From 01.03.2018 to 13.01.2020, he held the position of Director of the Administrative Department. From 03.01.2020 to 18.02.2020, he was appointed Director of the Center for Image and Information Policy. From 18.02.2020 to 01.09.2020, he served as Director of the Student Service Center. From 01.09.2020 to 24.05.2022, he was appointed Head of the Department of Geography, Tourism and Water Resources. From 24.05.2022 to 13.11.2024, he worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Geography and Tourism. Since 13.11.2024, he has been serving as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences.
