«Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University» NJSC «Ustaz» Boarding School for Gifted Children. 2021–2026.

The primary goal of the school, established in the 2021–2022 academic year:
True literacy is the knowledge of life, the profound mastery of a chosen profession, and the development of a capable individual who can meet life's demands.

Between 2021 and 2025, 250 students from seven districts of the Atyrau region were admitted to the school. The main student body consists of orphans, children from single-parent homes, and children from socially vulnerable families.

As part of professional orientation efforts, a memorandum was signed between the University Rector and the district Akims (governors), with the participation of heads of administrations, education departments, and social security departments of the Isatay, Inder, and Kyzylkoga districts. The highest enrollment is from the Makhambet district, with 40 students.

Atyrau University demonstrates genuine care for rural children. In this school, which is dedicated to boys, the students come exclusively from rural areas. Dormitory accommodation, five meals a day, and UNT (Unified National Testing) preparation courses are provided free of charge. The resolution of all these matters is ensured by the Rector of the University, Salamat Nurmukhanuly.

"Graduates who entered this school in the 2021–2022 academic year will, upon completion of their higher education, return to work in schools throughout the region, city, and districts. Out of 38 students in that graduating class, 35 chose the teaching profession. This is an exceptionally high indicator."

"According to comparative analysis, graduates of the 'Ustaz' school not only demonstrate excellent results in universities but also study abroad through academic mobility programs. For instance, Galimov Bektore, a 4th-year student studying under the dual education system, is already successfully employed and working at his alma mater, the 'Ustaz' school."

"The school operates based on agreements with the Board of Trustees, social partners, public organizations, and creative centers. For instance, in the 2022–2023 academic year, the school's medical office was fully equipped thanks to the support of social partners. Furthermore, following the results of the first half of the 2024–2025 academic year, the head of the 'Bylina' Ethno-Cultural Center, A. A. Korablev, personally provided monetary rewards to 12 students who were prize-winners of regional Olympiads."

Main Objective: In accordance with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals, the school fully addresses such tasks as "Zero Hunger," "No Poverty," "Clean Water and Sanitation," and "Access to Quality Education."

To achieve these goals, the following are provided: five meals a day, a supply of purified drinking water through filtration systems, and free preparation courses for the Unified National Testing (UNT). The Chairman of the Board – Rector of the NJSC "Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University" has been successfully resolving these matters for five years.

Students admitted to the school must undergo a mandatory medical examination to ensure compliance with sanitary standards and are registered based on documentation of their medical and preventive health procedures.

"Providing village children with free meals and accommodation, as well as providing them with free education and subsequent admission to Atyrau University and international universities, can be considered a direct return on investment. As a result, students achieve 100% of the employment rate."

"Students and parents express their deep gratitude to the school, where the annual evenings of meetings with graduates "Zharkyn zhuzdesu" ("Bright meetings") have become a good tradition. In particular, parents with many children have already made it a habit to send one child to this school every year. Obviously, this allows not only to save the family budget, but also to significantly reduce material costs. On the other hand, rural residents emphasize that if the main centers of life for the village are school, hospital and kindergarten, then this educational institution opens up great opportunities for children to return to their native lands with diplomas. School provides a unique chance not only to return home, but also to successfully find a job in the civil service. The growing demand for admission is a direct confirmation of this. Starting from the 2026-2027 academic year, it is planned to amend the admission rules. Priority for enrollment through district education departments will be given to young men from rural districts and socially vulnerable families who have decided to choose a teaching profession. This will be the main mechanism for the implementation of the project "With a diploma — to the village." In the process of personality formation, cultural events, meetings and sports competitions are never ignored. So, on February 10, a landmark meeting of students took place with the Chairman of the Board, Rector of Atyrau University named after H. Dosmukhamedov S. N. Idrisov."

"Student of the 10th "A" class Nurbolatuly Almas received a ticket to the republican stage following the results of the regional round of the competition "Forum of leaders of Student Self-government".
