The University Successfully Passed Specialized Accreditation

On May 29, Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University held a working session on the second day of the external expert commission’s accreditation procedures. During the visit, the experts reviewed 47 internship and training bases associated with the university’s academic programs. They also attended elective classes, visited the registrar’s office, and examined the functionality of the “Platonus” information system.

The commission thoroughly examined the educational and methodological documentation for the accredited academic programs. Internal consultations were held, and final reports were prepared. The day concluded with a wrap-up meeting between university leadership and members of the external expert commission.

The accreditation process was organized by the Independent Kazakhstan Accreditation Center, with the participation of both domestic and international experts.

A total of seven expert groups were formed, consisting of experienced academics, employers, students, and international specialists:

• 1st Group: Led by Prof. Dr. Klara Zhamanbayevna Turebayeva (Aktobe). Experts from Pavlodar, Shymkent, Oral, Aktobe, Atyrau, Kyzylorda, and the Kyrgyz Republic participated.

• 2nd Group: Included academics and employer representatives from Atyrau, Aktau, Astana, and Tashkent.

• 3rd Group: Led by Associate Professor Kulpash Koptileuova (Aktobe), with experts from Astana, Aktobe, Atyrau, and Kaluga.

• 4th Group: Comprised specialists from Atyrau, Astana, Almaty, and Tashkent.

• 5th Group: Focused on economics and included members from West Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Kostanay, Atyrau, and Omsk.

• 6th Group: Focused on legal programs and involved representatives from Aktobe, Atyrau, Kostanay, and Kyrgyzstan.

• 7th Group: Led by Associate Professor Amangeldi Ibraemovich Abilkhairov (Atyrau), with experts from Aktau, Astana, Atyrau, and Khakassia.

Experts were drawn from Aktobe, Pavlodar, Astana, Kyzylorda, Almaty, Kostanay, Atyrau, Tashkent, Osh, Kaluga, Omsk, and Khakassia. The external commission provided a high evaluation of the university and delivered professional recommendations.

The external accreditation process was coordinated by Aigerim Zhumkenovna Sembayeva, a representative of the Independent Kazakhstan Accreditation Center.

In conclusion, the external accreditation for 32 academic programs at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University was successfully conducted at a high level, reaffirming the university’s commitment to quality education and compliance with international standards.
