Professor Aliya Mukhanbetzhanova’s Pedagogical Legacy Promoted at Scientific Seminar
At Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, the Department of Preschool and Primary Education held a scientific seminar titled “The Pedagogical Legacy of Professor Aliya Mukhanbetzhanova: Conceptual Aspects of Integrated Education.”
The main goal of the seminar was to explore the scientific and pedagogical legacy of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Aliya Mukhanbetzhanova in the field of education, to discuss her conceptual ideas on the development of integrated education, and to consider ways to incorporate them into the modern education system.
Opening the event, Dean of the Faculty of Innovative Education, Professor Akmaral Mukhanbetzhanova, noted:
“As part of Science Week, we annually hold scientific seminars dedicated to the academic journey and valuable legacy of Professor Aliya Mukhanbetzhanova. This year, we selected the topic of conceptual aspects of integrated education for our regional seminar. I wish success to all participants, both online and present in person!”
The seminar featured presentations by Professor Bakyt Barsai (Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University), Professor Svetlana Bakhisheva (Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, West Kazakhstan Innovative-Technological University), Associate Professor Gulzhan Yergaliyeva (PhD, West Kazakhstan University named after M. Utemisov), Senior Lecturer and MA-holder Gulsara Auelbayeva (Department of Preschool and Primary Education, Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University), and Akbobek Kazimova, a second-year master’s student in the Educational Management program.
The seminar addressed topics such as enhancing the professional competence of future teachers, the role of research activities, and the significance of Aliya Mukhanbetzhanova’s pedagogical heritage within the modern education system.
Presentations discussed various aspects including pedagogy and didactics, instructional design, moral and spiritual education, contributions to renewed primary education, and the concept of knowledge integration.
In her presentation “The Reflection of Professor Aliya Mukhanbetzhanova’s Scientific Legacy in the Didactics and Pedagogical Design of Student-Centered Learning in the Digital Age”, Professor Svetlana Bakhisheva stated:
“Among the paradigm-shifting ideas that lay the foundation for the transformation of traditional didactics are the shift from education to designing the learning process, and the creation of pedagogical design focused on student-centered approaches. Transitioning from traditional didactics to pedagogical design in digital learning environments can be regarded as one of the innovative methods of our time.”
The seminar concluded with an open exchange of ideas and discussions among participants.
