Professional Development Course on “Scientific Writing Based on Academic Writing Principles” Held at Atyrau University

At Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, participants of the professional development course held in the format of a scientific-methodological seminar titled “Scientific Writing Based on Academic Writing Principles” were awarded certificates.
The seminar was organized with the goal of enhancing the professional development of university faculty members, improving their research competencies, and strengthening academic writing skills. Participants learned the fundamental requirements for writing scientific articles, conference papers, and dissertations. Faculty members of Atyrau University actively took part in the course.
Organized by the Department of Science, the course concluded with a certificate ceremony in which 110 participants were awarded by the Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations, Kansulu Utepkaliyeva.
During the seminar, participants received comprehensive information on the structure of scientific texts, types of essays, selecting research topics, avoiding plagiarism, citation styles, and issues of academic integrity. As part of the program, attendees also exchanged practical experience in writing essays, scientific articles, and dissertations.
The seminar was held at a high level and significantly contributed to the development of academic writing culture in the scientific community and to the advancement of research writing skills among faculty members.
