As part of the methodological decade, a seminar on the topic "Principles of a proactive teacher in formative assessment" was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University together with the Atyrau branch of "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" and the Center for Pedagogical Mastery.
The goal of the scientific and practical platform is to increase the professional competence of teachers in improving the formative assessment system and improving the academic achievements of students using proactive approaches.
Formative assessment is carried out in the modern education system with the aim of continuously analyzing and improving the learning outcomes of students. This type of assessment is aimed at identifying the achievements and difficulties of students in their studies and providing them with timely assistance, said the host of the seminar, senior manager of the Center for Pedagogical Mastery, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences. Altynshash Tazhigaliyeva, having proven this with various sources.
Proactive approaches involve teachers using systematic tools to provide effective feedback to students and improve the quality of teaching, as well as the ability to adapt educational material to the needs of individual students using proactive maps.
Proactive maps are an innovative tool aimed at improving student performance in the formative assessment system. They not only develop the professional skills of the teacher, but also provide the opportunity to qualitatively manage the learning process.
These approaches play an important role in increasing the effectiveness of the modern education system.
At the end of the seminar, various ideas were discussed and feedback was provided using the "4 What" method.
